In my shoes
The "In my shoes" application aims to inform the public about issues of school violence and bullying.
Through the selection of characters and emotional situations, users have the opportunity to develop and save for future use multiple-choice scenarios, addressing issues that concern the school community, and beyond. In a simple and easy way, students, teachers, parents and the general public can create their own stories and reflect on issues that threaten modern society, from social media and stereotypes to racism and gender-based violence.
Consistently in the field of education, the intention of the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation is to encourage young and old to talk and reflect on inclusion and diversity. Utilizing new technologies and drawing inspiration from modern needs, the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation expects the application “Step into my place” to become a model pedagogical tool, inside and outside the classroom and regardless of age.
The application “Step into my place” has been implemented within the framework of the Operational Programme Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ESRF 2014-2020) with co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union.

Information Then and Now: Friend or Foe?
The educational application “Information Then and Now: Friend or Foe?” is an interactive game aimed at developing critical thinking and media literacy skills. The children are asked to identify which news is true and which is false, thus strengthening their analytical skills.
The game places users in a fictional but realistic environment, motivating child users to compare information on their own and draw their own conclusions. Through various scenarios, the application presents everyday problems, while offering strategies for dealing with modern impasses, such as the climate change and the natural disasters.

Women and Stereotypes
The educational program 'Women and Stereotypes' aims to raise awareness among secondary school students on issues of stereotypes for the female gender and to highlight their impact on the everyday life of Greek and Eureopan society.
The adoption of gender stereotypes has a direct impact on self-confidence, the sense of self-efficacy and, more generally, on the emotional life of individuals. This specific educational program has been structured in such a way that it can be implemented by teachers and professors without the presence of a special trainer. It is accompanied by detailed instructions and is multimedia. With sensitivity to diversity and inclusion, the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation aspires for the educational program 'Women and Stereotypes' to be an occasion for discussion with students in all regions of Greece.
