The book kit on the Asia Minor Catastrophe was designed to create a channel of communication between children and historical events, as recorded in historiography, testimonies and literature.
The visual artist Angeliki Bozou curated a package of activities, addressed to children aged 10-15, aiming at children to understand the events, discover their own ways to keep historical memory alive and create a new narrative (storytelling), while exploring timelessness, the consequences of war conflicts and the interconnection of historical events of modern times.
The activities of the library can be implemented in any classroom or library.
The presentation of the book kit is addressed to teachers, library representatives and anyone interested.
The pilot application to students of Primary & Secondary Education will take place at the Lending Library, after completing the registration form and in consultation with the school management.
