“Depersonalization: Depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. A personal matter”
The Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation hosts the photographic exhibition of Ioannis Armiriotis, with 30 photographs and 10 photographic subjects which depict the influence of social media, the internet and television on the personal well-being of man, the time and the stress that it is capable to cause to people’ s everyday life, academic stress, addictions and antidepressants, the nightmares and man’s need for a pause.
The exhibition attempts to connect us with the present and the future, wanting to highlight the victory of the photographer, that is, the effort to release and record the specific difficulties and concerns but also his simultaneous defeat because he will continue to survive with them. The aim of the exhibition is to become a tool of social dialogue, to sensitize and trouble the viewer on these disorders, but also to a great extent to encourage – empower all those who suffer from them, through the personal experience, narration and approach of the photographer.
