Let’s get to know traditional shipbuilding!
The sea and its wealth are key pillars of the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation. To the already rich actions comes the application (in greek) With a boat called “Evangelistria”.
The application presents, in an original way, the traditional boat Evangelistria, part of the Foundation’s maritime collection. Through three-dimensional representation, visitors have the opportunity to rotate, magnify and penetrate the interior of the boat, discovering in detail its members.
Beyond its educational character, the application consolidates the Foundation’s interest in traditional shipbuilding, Greece’s major cultural capital.
Responding to the need to preserve and promote marine heritage, but also with respect to the dissemination of knowledge, the application With a boat called “Evangelistria” aspires to inform and awaken the public about the importance of traditional shipbuilding.
In the same context, the short production Traditional Shipbuilding: Significant Cultural Capital is included.
