The Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation invites you to the Mental Health Department’s anniversary conference entitled: Synergy Programme: “Feel, think, act: From school to society”, on Saturday 7 December 2024, at the Historical Library, 09.30-17.30.
The Synergy programme is a scientifically documented practical approach to understanding and addressing children’s behavior problems in the school environment. It is aimed at teachers who are interested in enhancing their skills in managing behavioral problems in the classroom. Key objectives are to promote a collaborative approach that connects schools, educational staff, parents and stakeholders, to reduce stress levels caused by behavioural problems, to change school culture and to reduce exclusionary and marginalised behaviours.
After 10 years of its implementation , teachers, mental health specialists, parents and students will get to know the practical results of the programme in schools in Athens and will discuss the problems of adaptation and behavior at school, the special difficulties in the classroom, and the ways to deal with emergency situations.
The Synergy programme is developed by the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation in collaboration with AT Autism and the Donaldson Trust, Great Britain.
The workshop will be supported by reputable members of the scientific community, mental health experts and teachers.
The workshop is addressed to teachers, mental health specialists, students and parents.
Participation in the workshop is free of charge. Application form is required here.
