The Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, for the 6th consecutive year, invites you to participate in the celebration of the European Day for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage, on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the Historical Library building in a special event.
The Foundation’s book and paper material conservation laboratory opens its doors to the public, giving them the unique opportunity to watch in person the main conservation interventions carried out on book and paper material with the aim of restoring them. The demonstration of the conservation interventions will take place on old and rare documents from the Foundation’s collections and the public will have the opportunity to see and discuss with the conservators about the various conservation techniques.
*The event will take place in three groups of 10 people lasting approximately 1 hour
