As part of the World Poetry and Theatre Days, 21 and 27 March, respectively, the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation is organizing an event – tribute entitled Poetry and Theatre: A Conversation, on Wednesday 26 March 2025 at 19.00, at the Historical Library, 2nd Division 36 & Moutsopoulou Coast in Piraeus.
From the women poets of the Renaissance to contemporary poetic and theatrical creation. A journey through the art of poetry and theatre from antiquity to the present day, with a background of Europe and the East, Ancient Greece, folk song and Cretan literature, as well as contemporary creation and the theatrical stage. An event-tribute to poetry, theatre, theatre poetry.
