Dimitris Laletas (1964-2011) was a painter and the illustrator for the magazine and publications “Odos Panos” designing their logo featuring the ancient Greek god Pan. He worked for 20 years with this publishing house, as a translator. In his works, Dimitris Laletas depicted faces of men, women, and children, as well as natural landscapes. His final series of works, which he called “Nocturnes”, depicted horses in the darkness with riders holding them by the reins. He held solo exhibitions at “Bilieto” in Paiania, the Hellenic American Union, and Babel, and participated in group exhibitions at the K-Art Gallery and Babel. His paintings and drawings were published in Lifo, Symbol, and other publications. He was a regular contributor to the “Library” supplement of the Saturday “Eleftherotypia” newspaper from March 2009.
