Έπειτα από το μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον του αναγνωστικού κοινού, η δεύτερη έκδοση του έργου «Ottoman Athens. Topography, Archaeology, History», αποτέλεσμα της συνεργασίας του Ιδρύματος Αικατερίνης Λασκαρίδη με τη Γεννάδειο Βιβλιοθήκη της Αμερικανικής Σχολής Κλασικών Σπουδών στην Αθήνα, είναι πλέον διαθέσιμη. Πρόκειται για ένα πρωτοποριακό έργο, καθώς έρχεται να καλύψει με σειρά επιστημονικών άρθρων ένα θέμα ελάχιστα μελετημένο. Από τις αρχαιότητες, την αρχιτεκτονική, τη χαρτογραφία, μέχρι την καθημερινή ζωή και την απελευθέρωση του Κάστρου των Αθηνών, η έκδοση αυτή έχει στόχο να συγκεντρώσει και να συστηματικοποιήσει τις πληροφορίες που έχουμε για την Αθήνα, από την οθωμανική κατάκτηση μέχρι και την ανεξαρτησία. Το έργο αυτό, το οποίο περιλαμβάνει και νέα ευρήματα που προέκυψαν από την έρευνα, φιλοδοξεί να ανοίξει έναν γόνιμο διάλογο στο επιστημονικό πεδίο της οθωμανικής ιστορίας.
